Django jazz jam sessions

Jazz · rörstrandsgatan 21, 11341 Stockholm, Sweden

Gypsy Jazz, also known as gypsy swing and jazz manouche, is a jazz style said to have been created by guitarist Django Reinhardt in the early 1930s. Django Reinhardt was of Romani origin, born in Belgium, and grew up in Romani communities in the outskirts of Paris. The music style emerged as a blend of American jazz and the traditional music played during his upbringing. S:t Eriks jazzbar presents a Jam session every Wednesday at 8:00 PM focusing on Django Reinhardt's style of jazz.
