Ghosts of Rosegarden is an expressive tale of a garden filled with desire, wonder and mysticism. Here, wild beings, a mother and her dead cat, a string quartet and a lovestruck bassoonist come together. Through ritual, humour and physicality, the work explores trauma, love, sacrifice, and the cycles of destruction and creation. Elina Pirinen brings fine art and folk art together in a work where live music and theatre merge.
