What do we owe our children? What do our children owe us? What are we willing to sacrifice for what we believe in? Tu madre / Din mamma is a play rooted in Spain's history, but with clear parallels to our own time. It is a story about how history repeats itself - and how it can be broken. The play moves between past and present: between a Spain shaped by dictatorship, resistance and silence, and a Europe in transformation. The performance is in Swedish, with elements of Spanish.
