Ezhel — or Sercan İpekçioğlu, as he is actually named — is one of the most influential voices in Turkish rap, with a strong presence on the German scene as well. Born and raised in Ankara and now based in Berlin, he has been shaped by a wide range of influences: hip hop, reggae, and Anatolian rock — a mix that also defines his own sound.
