Kulturhuset Stadsteatern's newly established Picture Book Prize, with an award sum of 200,000 kr, is awarded to an emerging creator who significantly impacts the future and distinctiveness of picture books. It is a unique prize that rewards and highlights picture book creators and the picture book as an art form. Kulturhuset Stadsteatern's Picture Book Prize is part of Picture Book Day and will be awarded for the first time in 2026.
